ABOUT Between THE BRICKS

Between the Bricks is a Creative Laureate project exploring Red Wing through miniature art.

Created by Megan Tsui, the project uses tiny scenes, familiar landmarks, and unexpected details to encourage people to look more closely at the places around them. Maybe you’ll get a new perspective on something you take for granted?

Because sometimes the easiest way to notice a city is to make it very, very small.

Special thanks to the City of Red Wing’s Art and Culture Commission for awarding Megan a grant to become one of the first Creative Laureates and help fund this project!

Three additional exhibits will be in downtown Red Wing over the next ten months. Keep your eyes peeled and your magnifying glass handy!
